Google Ads that turn searches into customers, not just clicks
Someone types exactly what you sell into Google. That’s the warmest lead you’ll ever pay for. I make sure your ad shows up, and that the page it lands on doesn’t waste them.

Dear business owner,
Google Ads should be the easiest money in marketing.
People are literally typing “I want what you sell” into a search box. You don’t have to convince them. You just have to turn up and not make a mess of it.
And yet.
“We tried Google Ads. It didn’t really work for us.”
I hear that a lot. When I look inside the account, it’s nearly always the same three culprits.
You’re paying for searches that will never buy
“Free”. “Jobs”. “How to do it yourself”. “Cheap”. Without regular checks on what people actually typed, a chunk of your budget goes on searches that were never going to become customers.
Google doesn’t mind. It still gets paid.
The searcher lands on your homepage
They searched for one specific thing. You sent them to a page about everything. They hit back and click the next result.
That next result is your competitor.
Google is learning from the wrong numbers
Calls not tracked. Form views counted as leads. Bookings that never get reported back. So Google gets very good at finding more of the wrong thing.
Fix those three, and the same budget starts doing a very different job.
What I do on your Google Ads
AI does the heavy lifting on the checks. I make every decision, and I’m the one you speak to.
Keywords by intent
Searches from people ready to buy or book come first. Big, vague, expensive keywords wait.
Wasted searches blocked
I check what people actually typed every week and block the ones that will never buy.
Ads that match the search
Your ad says what they searched for, so the right people click and the wrong people don’t.
A page for the search
A landing page built around the search and one offer. One clear thing to do: call, book or enquire.
Tracking that counts customers
Forms, calls and bookings tracked properly, so Google optimises for enquiries, not clicks.
A weekly report you can read
Plain English. Enquiries, bookings, sales and what they cost. Not a wall of impressions.
Google or Meta? An honest answer.
They do different jobs. Using the wrong one is like fishing with a net in a puddle.
Lots of businesses end up running both: Google for the people already looking, Meta for the people who will be. If nobody searches for what you sell, Google is the wrong place to start, and I’ll tell you that on the call.
Your Google Ads and your page, rebuilt in 30 days
You don’t hand over all your marketing. Just your Google Ads and the page they send people to.
Week 1: I audit and plan
Search terms, keywords, tracking and your current page. We agree what an enquiry or sale is worth, and write down today’s numbers. That’s the number to beat.
Weeks 2 to 4: I build, test and improve
Campaigns rebuilt around high-intent searches. Wasted searches blocked. A landing page built for your top searches. New ads and page versions tested every week, with a plain-English report.
Day 30: the side-by-side
Your old numbers next to the new ones, straight from your own Google Ads account. No spin. Then we plan the next 30 days: what to scale, what to cut, what to test next.
A quick word on proof
The labelled results on my results page come from Meta accounts. I’m telling you that because I won’t dress them up as Google results.
What I can tell you is how I work on every account: one person, checked every day, judged on customers, not clicks. Here’s one client on what that looked like on his Google Ads.
“Barrie took the time to go through everything for me in language that i understood. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 1 hour.”
“So what’s the guarantee, Barrie?”
There isn’t one.
I could stick a big shiny guarantee right here. Plenty do. Read the small print, though, and it usually comes with more conditions than a mobile phone contract.
Nobody honest can guarantee your results before they’ve looked at your account. A number promised blind is a guess wearing a suit.
So here’s what I do instead. Before we talk, I look at your ads, your tracking and your page myself. If I can’t see a clear way to beat your current numbers, I’ll tell you on the call. And I won’t take you on.
If I can, you’ll know exactly where the extra customers would come from. Either way, you keep everything I find.
That’s it. No asterisks.
Google Ads: your questions
Should I run Google Ads or Meta ads?
If people already search for what you sell, start with Google. If they don’t know they need you yet, or your product sells on how it looks, start with Meta. Plenty of businesses end up running both. I’ll tell you which I’d start with on the call.
How long do Google Ads take to work?
Search ads can bring clicks from the first day, because the demand is already there. A clear read on cost per enquiry or sale usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, once the wasted searches have been found and blocked.
Can you just run my Google Ads, without the landing page?
I could. But if someone searches for exactly what you sell and lands on a homepage with fourteen menu items, you’ve paid for the hardest part and thrown it away. That’s why the landing page comes with it.
Can you run Google and Meta together?
Yes. Same person, same weekly report, same landing page approach. One looks after people already searching. The other finds people who aren’t searching yet.
How much does Google Ads management cost?
It runs on the same 30-day model as Meta ads, with the landing page included, plus your ad spend paid to Google directly. I’ll give you the exact figure for your account on the call, before you commit to anything.
Do you guarantee a position or results?
No. Nobody honest can guarantee results, and anyone promising you the top spot is selling you a promise, not a plan. I’ll look at your account first and tell you straight what I think is realistic.
Want to know where your Google budget is going?
Send me your ad and your landing page. I’ll look at them first, then ring you and tell you straight what I’d change.
Thirty minutes. No pitch deck. No sales team, because there isn’t one.
